A.C. Harrington Receives KCCH

Due to an illness, brother AC Harrington was unable to attend the KCCH investiture last December in Wilmington. Therefore, an abbreviated version was held during our June stated meeting.

Congratulations to Brother Harrington.

CMPD Chief Rodney Monroe gave a talk at the recent stated meeting. Several attended to hear the speech including many neighboring Prince Hall Scottish Rite masons.

Doug Mayes Golf Tournament

The Committee for the Fifth Annual Doug Mayes Golf Tournament met on January 12th and are planning the tournament in the month of May. We are looking at courses for a Monday or Friday event. We will need the help of all the members due to the short time window. We will be looking for raffle prizes, goodie bag items, and general golf items. The tournament has had great success during its five years due to the support of our members and those of the Shrine Golf Club. We will also be selling Tee Box Signs this year. The committee will be presenting our plans to the advisory board at its February meeting.
